Tried, Tested & LOVED: Neal's Yard Frankincense Toning Body Cream

I've been using the Neal's Yard Frankincense Toning Body Cream for exactly a monthly now and I have nothing but praise for this product...so much so that it got me excited about blogging again!

The cream is rich and creamy but still has a very light texture. It has a nice mild herbal/floral scent and gets absorbed into the skin almost immediately.
How I use it is after my shower before bed and then again during the day if I feel I need it. It doesn't take too long to sink into the skin so I don't have to wait around for it to get absorbed before getting dressed. Sometimes, if I have the time, I like to apply Neal's Yard's argan oil all over after I shower and then a layer of this cream over it. That honestly feels heavenly!

I had actually gone into Neal Yard's looking for an anti-ageing body cream/lotion and the sales assistant suggested I try this. I really can't say that it's had an effect on tightening my skin just yet, but I guess a few more months of use will tell. In the meantime, I am definitely going to get some more and keep using it daily.

The cream is free of mineral oils, parabens, silicones and has no artificial colours or fragrances.

I had bought the Neal's Yard Frankincense Toning Body Cream for AED 260 from Neal Yard's Dubai Mall.

Tried, Tested & LOVED: Givenchy Eyebrow Show Powdery Eyebrow Pencil

Hi everyone! Sorry for the lack of posts, but as Ramadan has started, I've been kinda busy! And when I'm not been busy, I'm just too hungry to blog :p or do anything else for that better.

Anyway, just thought I'd do a quick review of the Givenchy Eyebrow Show (Powdery Eyebrow Pencil) that I had picked up at Harvey Nichols, Mall of the Emirates last week.

As the name suggests, it is a powdery eyebrow pencil, and that's exactly what it is.
Because it's a pencil, it's easy to use with precision, without creating a mess. And because it gives a powdery finish, your eyebrows end up looking full, but still very natural! I don't really like harsh eyebrows, so this is just perfect!
I would suggest using it with a very light hand for best results!

Even though I have black eyebrow hairs, I chose to buy it in No. 1 Brunette Show because I wanted it to look as soft and natural on my face as possible, and it cost 95 AED at Harvey Nics.

Summer Essential: Supergoop SPF 30 Anti-Aging City Sunscreen Serum

Supergoop sent me this serum more than a month ago and I've been wearing it almost daily since, especially on the days that I have to go out during the daytime. My skin is extremely sensitive to the sun and just a few minutes outside are enough for it to start looking withered.

I don't tan evenly and my skin ends up looking horrible in the summer. Even though I am well aware of the ageing and other harmful effects of the sun, I usually avoid wearing sunblock because it's just too greasy and feels heavy on the skin.  But this product has actually been great!!

It's perfect for the weather in this part of the world. It gives you sun protection without the harmful chemicals and at the same time, it has anti-ageing properties

How I use it:
I use two pumps of this on my face and neck a few seconds after I have cleansed and toned my skin in the morning.
I let it rest on my skin for a minute or so before applying my moisturizer, primer and foundation.

What I love about it:
It's very lightweight and it's not greasy...provided you give it a minute to rest before applying moisturizer.
It is fragrance, paraben and petrochemical (oxybenzone) free
Serum + suncreen in one quick step.
I feel it lets my skin breathe and I don't get the same feeling from other sun protection products.

Would I use it again?
YES!

Where is it available?
Dubai: Makeup Etc Boutique
AbuDhabi: Westin Hotel
Doha, Qatar: Four Seasons
Oman: Six Senses Spa, Zighy Bay

How much is it for?
