Children - A Film by Mohammad Fikree

Mohammad Fikree, whose short, animated film Mad Camel has been screened at various local and international film festivals such as the Gulf Film Festival, The Cannes' Short Film Corner, etc, is currently working on another animated short film called Children.

So what is the film all about? Here is the synopsis:
"In one of the nights, a beast wakes up from it's long slumber. It glows in the dark and preys on any living souls by transforming itself into any small, harmless creature to trap them. This short animated film will tell a story about a mother and both of her son and daughter of their desperate escape, as the beast preys on them."

Stills from the film

I love the ark work and animation style of all of Fikree's films and I have a feeling Children is going to be as impressive as my other favourite film oh his called Girl & It, which you can watch: here

The film is scheduled to be shown at various film festivals towards the end of the year. In the meanwhile, here is a little sneak peek at the film Children:

Mohammad Fikree is an Emirati artist, animator & music composer, based in Dubai, UAE.

Looks like it's an interesting one! I love it when I see young local khalijis doing that. Like Ali F. Mustafa with The City of Life. I have a lot of criticism towards that movie, but all in all hats up for him honestly mashAllah 3leih I admire him.
